We are pleased to be partnering with the Kintsugi Hope organisation, along with Dromore Elim Church, to run a Wellbeing Group online (via Zoom) on Mondays at 8pm from 11th October.
‘Kintsugi’ is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with seams of gold – when brokenness is repaired, the object becomes more beautiful and unique than it was before. Instead of hiding the scars, it makes a feature of them.
‘Kintsugi Hope’ Wellbeing Groups are open to all, and gather over twelve weeks (with a couple of breaks) to explore how to maintain positive mental and emotional wellbeing in the midst of our busy lives. There is no charge to participate. A Kintsugi Hope Wellbeing Group is a safe and supportive space:
- for people who feel or have felt overwhelmed.
- providing tools for self-management.
- in a facilitated peer mentoring style setting.
Issues covered include: disappointment, loss, anxiety, anger, perfectionism, shame and resilience.
You can sign up now, and can join up to week 3 of the course, at the end of October (don’t worry, we hope to run it again). Please use the form below… we’ll use your contact details to let you know how to connect on Monday nights and to keep you in touch with the group through the 12 weeks.
